How to delete your data

You can close your Front Store creator account yourself, or ask us to delete your data. This includes anything we received from Google, Apple, TikTok, Instagram or YouTube.

Close your account

  1. Sign in to your Front Store creator account on the website or in the creator app, and open Settings.
  2. Choose Close your account on the website, or Close my account in the app.
  3. Confirm that it's you, then confirm the close.

Closing is permanent. You can't sign in again, links you've shared show a closed page, and the pictures you uploaded are deleted. You can close your account while it is under review: the review continues, and your unpaid commission stays held until it finishes, then what you have earned is paid by the usual rules.

Ask us instead

If you can't sign in, or want your data deleted sooner, write to contact@front.store from the address on your account. We delete it within one month, and YouTube data within 7 days, except what the law requires us to keep or we need for a legal claim or an open review of your account.

Remove one connected account

Settings, then Ways to sign in removes Google or Apple while another way to sign in remains. You can also disconnect a verified TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account there, even your last one, unless your account is restricted. Once you have no verified account, live storefronts and shared links keep working, but you can't publish a storefront or create new share links until you verify again, and another Front Store account can verify the one you disconnected. Removing YouTube access in your Google settings deletes what we hold about the channel within 30 days. Removing any other access in your Google, Apple, TikTok or Instagram settings stops future use but does not delete what we already hold, so close your account or write to us as well.

What is deleted, and when

As soon as your account closes, we delete your uploaded photos and your YouTube channel ID, handle and picture link, and release any storefront web address built from your YouTube handle.

One month after it closes, we delete your Google, Apple, TikTok and Instagram account IDs and handles, your public name, your storefront's name and text, your device history, your authenticator app setup, and your notifications, posts, notes and campaign names. We also release your other storefront web addresses. Anyone can then claim a released address, and old links to it may lead to their storefront.

Your PayPal address, bank details, legal name, passkeys and email addresses are deleted one month after your account closes too, or once we have paid you everything you are owed and any hold on your payouts has ended if that is later, and at the latest 12 months after it closes. We keep them that long only so we can pay you and reach you about the payment. Deleting payout details does not cancel what we owe you: if money is still due, write to contact@front.store and we will pay you. We keep your legal name if we have ever sent you a payout. Sign-in IP addresses are deleted 12 months after the sign-in.

What we have to keep

Sales and payout records stay for eight years after the end of the financial year they belong to, as Hungarian accounting law requires. If we have ever sent you a payout, your legal name and the recipient details on that payout stay with those records, and PayPal and Revolut keep their own records of payouts they made. See the Privacy notice for creators.
